أعلن وزير الأوقاف الدكتور محمود حمدى زقزوق الثلاثاء، أن الوزارة انتهت من اختيار الدفعة الأولى للدعاة وقراء القرآن الكريم الذين ستوفدهم لإحياء ليالى شهر رمضان المبارك مع المسلمين فى الخارج. مضيفاً أن الدفعة الأولى ضمت 50 من أكفأ دعاة الوزارة من جميع المحافظات تم اختيارهم عن طريق مسابقة عامة تضمنت ضوابط صارمة لضمان اختيار أكفأ العناصر، ليكونوا سفراء للإسلام الصحيح وعنوانا للفكر الإسلامى المعتدل المنطلق من مصر بلد الأزهر الشريف، وسيوفد هؤلاء الدعاة إلى 16 دولة أوروبية وهى كل من إيطاليا- سويسرا-كندا-انجلترا-أمريكا-نيوزيلانده-كوريا-النرويج-أسبانيا-أستراليا- بلجيكا-المجر-البرازيل-النمسا-فنزويلا-أيرلندا.وأضاف زقزوق أن المسابقة التى عقدت هذا العام لاختيار أفضل قراء القرآن الكريم لنفس الغرض أسفرت عن اختيار 93 قارئا سيتم إيفادهم إلى 25 بلدا على مستوى العالم .
